I made this dress for my sister-in-law. It is probably one of my favorite dresses I’ve made. I used the same Burda pattern that I did for my Sound of Music dress.
I used the Burda magazine May 2010 dress pattern #110 for the bodice portion of the dress. I just drafted different sleeves, and a simple circle skirt (It has slightly less body than what the pattern calls for, but i didn’t have enough material for the skirt the pattern called for).
This was probably one of my longest sewing projects ever. The material is a lightweight and pesky chiffon crepe.
