I’ve tried to make a chiffon collar for this blouse, but after 3 failures, I’ve decided to give up. Then I discovered this white cotton in my stash and give it a try. I am still not sure if fabrics go well together, but I really like the way it looks.
For the hem I used a trick because I don’t like hemming chiffon. I’ve used a zig-zag stitch to keep in place, cut the seam allowance and hand sewn some elastic lace over to cover the mess.
I’ve only used the pattern for the neck part, so I skipped the pleats. Also, I’ve altered the fit and rounded the collar.
