I made this apron by copying pattern of my future mother-in-law’s apron. It is very simple and easy to do. The embroidery across the bottom is a classic thing called Chicken Scratch you see on a lot of vintage gingham aprons. I was inspired by rosylittlethings.typepad.com/posie_gets_cozy/2008/02/picn… . I did most of the embroidery while traveling by train from Vienna to Prague and from home to work.
