Description

For this Anda, I slimmed the bodice down a little, made the capped sleeve smaller and shortened the whole thing a little. This dress is for my best friend who is going to Australia and needs some hot weather garments. I think the Anda pattern is excellent for displaying amazing printed fabric, and I think you will agree, you don’t get much more amazing than this chicken print African wax fabric! The Anda is super easy to make.

Material Notes

African wax cotton that was really stiff initially, but when washed went really soft and almost silky.

      Thank you! In fact my friend (who this dress is for) wore it in Thailand and kept walking passed chickens in it! Oh, is it ok if I adopt the phrase ‘Turbosweet’ into my vocabulary? I LOVE it!

    I LOOOOOOOVE this, african wax print is amazing, that chicken print is so original and your friend is super lucky to have a mate knocking up fantastic, one-of-a-kind hot-weather holiday pieces for her.
