A long, very floaty dress which I made for my Maths Department Ball.
Once again I didn’t leave enough time to make it, so it was all a bit of a rush! It has 3 layers (a gold lining, a yellow slightly stretchy something or other and a lemon chiffon) to prevent it being see through. However, the 3 layers were a nightmare to sew, especially the chiffon, and there were a lot more things to think about to make sure that the seams weren’t too visable through the chiffon.
The buttons are from Liberty’s (my first and only Liberty’s purchase – so I love them very much).
I felt very elegant in it, and certainly a lot more glamorous than my boyfriend’s description… ‘’a long post it note with blue buttons’’!!

Massive love and thanks to my friend Kizzy, who I invited over for a cup of tea, and then got to help me sew for several hours!!
