Chevron Alexander

Added Aug 13, 2012

by redredhoodie

Berlin, Germany

my second version of the Alexander blouse, with a few alterations; instead of the button tabs in the front and back, I added an elastic waist and a polo neckline. Also I added a high-low-hem and made the whole thing in a self printed cotton voile. I just made a chevron stencil out of linoleum and used some red and purple fabric paint.

I saw this and thought how cute. Then, I saw that you modified the pattern and painted your fabric!!! How cool is that??? It is beautiful.

Wow You have done a wonderful job from printing the fabric to your sewing.I like the elastic waist .A job very well done & you should feel like a million dollars when you wear it.

thank you. I’ve actually got some fabric left over. the cut out pieces are already laying on my sewing table, because I just can’t get enough of it.
