Sorbetto blouse from Colette Patterns (free download at Adjusted the pattern to make a 3" FBA (using this tutorial: and added elastic under the front seam to keep it snug against my underbelly; only sewed the pleat down to right under the bust line. Still has a gaping armhole problem, but will take care of that with the next iteration of the pattern!

Nice top! I’m so in love with cherry print at the moment, I am trying to find a nice one to do a vintage pattern I think would be perfect for it that has bias binding around all the edges :)

I had the gaping armhole problem too which meant the darts were not sitting on the bustline at all. I lifted the the shoulder seams by 1" on the front and then the back and still had to re position the darts. And then I had to add extra length to the hem because I had lost it from the shoulders. It is all sorted now and I am very happy with my latest Sorbetto and I am sure you will too. It is a great pattern for a summer top and uses such a small amount of fabric or great for a left over piece from another project. It is such a pity when you use lovely fabric like your Cherry fabric that it didn’t work out the way you hoped it would. Good luck with future Sorbettos.
