We’ve had our eyes on the 4/2010 Slouchy Blouse pattern for a while and decided to make it in a lovely cherry red silk crepe fabric. The blouse is easy to sew and gives a nice silhouette. A great blouse for many occasions.
We decided to shorten the sleeves and omit the sleeve tabs. We also lowered the buttons a bit to give it a deeper neckline.
Silk crepe.

It looks really nice. I’m glad the deep neckline is an alteration; I don’t like my neckline to include my bustline. There are some things that just aren’t meant for sharing with the world.

Lovely blouse. I would have done the same with the sleeves. I can see this blouse in a wide variety of fabrics.

Nice choice of fabric and design changes; they make the pattern really work well.
