I needed something to cheer me up and I found this lovely blend, it was not too bright and I think it suits me perfectly. The fabric has a linen look. The dress is very close fitting with two back straps that are worn twisted and button from the inside. I lined the dress completely and a invisible zipper at the back.
In addition I also made a cardigan that is from the Burda March issue of this year. I modify it slightly by shortening the length and remove the tie bands and added a pearl button. The sleeves was shorten also because burda’s version was way too tall.
I was so happy with how everything came together nicely :-)

It looks great on you and I really like the back straps, especially the twist, I’ve been noticing lots of cut out back type dresses recently. Also great to see the cardi which looks lovely too. I made the wrap top version which I like and wear quite a lot but had also considered this but didn’t have enough fabric at the time.
