This is actually the first thing I´ve ever sewed. I think it turned out quite well even though the next time I would try to match the checks on the skirt and the waistband. It was really scarry to do the buttonholes because I was afraid I would ruin the skirt. But actually it was much more easier than I expected it to be. Btw there are for buttons, two on every side even if the pictures just show two of them…
But there´s still one thing, which is bothering me: when I´m wearing the skirt with tights, it is riding up my legs. Any suggestions? What about a slippery lining? Could that help?
Some kind of wool mix, which was fraying a lot when I did the buttonholes.
Me and Burda for the pattern.

Congrats! I needed years and years of sewing handbags and stuff before I tried a skirt that wasn’t wearable at all! You did a realy good job! I don’t know what to to about the riding…..but I hope you’ll find a way of fixing it..
