i have lots of scrap material that i can’t throw away… i cut 10cm squares from it & sewed them together… initially it was with the intention of making a quilt… then i throught it would be better to start out small… so here are 2 table mats / place mats. they can be used on either side as the back has been reinforced with interfacing and black cotton and then bound around the edges. i’m happy with them so i’m making some more for my friend for her new apartment… hopefully i’ll have enough material to make matching drink coasters:)
cotton, thread, interfacing, 10cm square made from cardboard, bias binding
