I changed the sleeves so the dress has more of an hourglass shape. Without the sleeves the pattern had more of a halterneck shape which doesnt suit me at all. I chopped the long sleeve down to 13" and pleated it. LOVE the pleats :D I added a belt with side rings so it can be worn different ways, as in nipped at the waist without seeing the belt at the front; makes it look more tailored. And not a zip in sight O_O

i really like this, i dont like the way burdas done the malissa pattern, but it looks great the way youve done it and the fabric you’ve chosen.
