Description

i constructed this blouse using a big XXL men’s shirt. I cut it under the armholes, then applied the rounded yoke and finished adding the bias tape in the armholes made with the fabric of the same shirt. There was that pocket on the front…i took it of and then re-sewed it in her plce ;)

Material Notes

shirt cotton, white heavy cotton

Cute idea… and just something to think about, but I think it would be lots cuter if you moved the pocket next time to the bottom of the shirt. Like a little low pocket to put things in. My reasons are 1. the pocket now disturbs the line of the yoke and 2. I never put anything in pockets that are at that height on a shirt, but a lower pocket, I can put my keys or something small in without it looking weird. Just a suggestion!! :)

you’re right, on the bottom could be very nice….thanks for the suggestion! actually, i had to keep the pocket in her place cause the fabric was very old and lost a little bit of the blue so under the pocket it was darkest instead, like a shadow ^^ i could not eliminate it neither change her place…so that’s how i solved this problem!

Haha – it’s so funny how things work out like that… you do somethinhg and then people may wonder why, and of course you know that you were problem-solving, but no one else will know unless you tell them! ;) Well, anyway maybe you’ll make another – because it’s a very cute top! Cheers!
