BWOF 9/2007, #114 pattern.
I had this fabric in my stash for few years. I am not sure if it can be categorized as a classic check/plaid fabric, since it has a really specific ornament.
Anyway, I always had a skirt on my mind for this fabric, but then I realized it would be a cute blazer. So, I made one :).
I couldn’t resist my urge, I had to post all the pictures to show you the details.

Wow. Great blazer. I love the basket weave fabric, especially at the bottom of the jacket were it’s pieced differently. This simple style really makes the fabric the star. I’m always so impressed with the quality of your work and your fabric choices.

I am not capable of sewing a blazer so I am not interested in copying (sob!) but let me tell you yours is wonderful! A touch of Armani….

Thnk you for the detailed pictures! It looks so good and so well-done. I’m sewing a lined blazer for myself at the moment and hope it comes just half as good as yours.
