Description

These were done a little while ago, and you can find all I have to say on my blog here: http://bourbonandbras.blogspot.com/2011/12/thing-with-cheap-chinese-satin.html

This is definitely an argument against cheap satin.

I used the French Knickers pattern from the New Look 6310, but disregarded the lace inserts in the sides.

Material Notes

Cheap Chinese satin
Polyester blend lace trim

We’ve all used the wrong fabric at one time or another. I believe it is part of the growing in sewing process.

I must agree! Really, I was seeing wether I’d be able to use a lightweight satin before I turned my attention to more expensive materials – but certainly a learning experience!
