This is definitely an argument against cheap satin.
I used the French Knickers pattern from the New Look 6310, but disregarded the lace inserts in the sides.

I must agree! Really, I was seeing wether I’d be able to use a lightweight satin before I turned my attention to more expensive materials – but certainly a learning experience!
