cocktail/meet the parents/bridesmaid/fancy lunch… dress. Waistline hits at the natural waist and gives way to a flattering a-line
I’m still trying to work out the curves in the hips and how to accomodate for that in the tailoring. As a consequence, the base of the spine is not a smooth line which was disappointing. The next dress I did with this pattern got the smooth line down at the back but there were pulls at the bodice.
2 yards Fuschia taffetta , 18" zipper, 1/2 yards fusible interfacing, matching thread, hook & eye
