I used the reusable grocery bag(Charlie) pattern and I did this bag. The pouch is attached in plain view so I can use it as a pocket for keys and tissues.

I’ve made another Charlie bag in navy-blue and beige, with a retro pattern. It was a gift for my mother and she loved it. What can I say, I’m in love with Charlie…

Thanks for your comments. If you carefully follow their instructions the Charlie bag is a 1-2 hours project. So it’s fun to sew and it’s done in no time.

The more I see these bags the more I want to make some. Must get other sewing projects out of the way first though! I like the idea of being able to get rid of my other shopping bags for something that looks fun! \Well done, nice colour combo.
