mine is a little smaller (took off about 1.5" across and 4 inches from the bottom), lengthened the straps, lined, has pockets (which i messed up and made too small) and a flat bottom

Beautiful floral fabric…I like the alterations you did. Would you be able to post a pic of someone holding this bag on their shoulder? I have printed and cut out the pattern, but now you’ve got me thinking of altering it because I want to use it as a handbag. Thanks!

I love the Charlie Bag. How do I get the pattern so that I can make it?? I have been making so many different kinds of totebags for my daughters and their friends but this one is really beautiful!! Thanks!!

It looks great. I made one last night and lined it also. I just managed to squeeze it into the pouch. You could stick a magnetic clasp on the top to finish it off if you wanted to make it into a handbag.

the retro pattern looks lovely!!! too pretty for a grocery bag, no? :-) it’s amazing how the blue lining matches the fabric!

I love your fabric, i tried to make a lined version of the charlie bag, but it came out too thick, it’s still good for groceries, but not at all close enough to being as beautiful as yours!

good job ( I like that you lined it and flat bottom is also a good idea for a grocery bag) and wonderful fabric.
