Now, fold bag into its pouch, throw it in your purse, and say goodbye to all those pesky plastic bags.

To fold the bag into its pouch, you first need to fold the finished bag inside out. Then fold and cram the bag into the pouch. The bag is simple and usable, but the pouch doesn’t work very well. You can get a neat packable bundle simply by folding the bag (still right-side-out) and flipping one layer over the rest (the way you can keep a pair of socks together by folding the top of one sock over the other). The pouch just isn’t as effective as it looks in the photo.
