I made these two bags for my friends for Christmas. I modified the pattern a little to make them more rectangular, and monogrammed their initials on the front. I read and re-read and read again Ute’s How To on lining the bags, and her instructions were wonderful.
The dragonfly material used to be my curtains, and that one is lined with a pretty green Shantung silk with a red sheen. The red and white bag is lined with a soft beige organic cotton.
Ute for her How To, my husband for helping me visualize things from the inside out, and me for modifying the pattern a little bit.
