My older sister is moving out soon, so I decided to make this bag for her, to make her grocery shopping a bit more fun.
I altered the original Charlie pattern a bit, using two layers of fabric for a sturdier bag, and also because I didn’t like the raw edges. I also added buttons on the sides of the bag, so you can use it for light packing without having the bag looking too “flabby”.
The embrodery says “Sisters are flowers from the same garden”, which is our favourite quotation. We are getting matching tattoos of those words as soon as I turn eighteen.
Sorry about the blurry pictures, my camera really sucks!
Brown and limegreen linen, some brown embroidery yarn and buttons.
