Description

I made a basic straight skirt using New Look 6843 pattern and added fringes for a little 1930’s Charleston style. Ready to meet Mr Gatsby?!

Both the skirt and the fringes are made of a really soft shiny black velvet fabric and the whole thing was really easy and quick to put together.

I think it turned out pretty well and I love wearing it to spice up a simple outfit!

fabulous! I love this very clever use of fringing. Ill have to look at the trimming section in my fabric store for some! It would be great for a party skirt :)

    Youve inspired me!
