Chanel suit

I had picked up this Chanel trim during a class I took from Susan Khaljie this past spring and needed to use it. I had some silk tweed that I thought would go perfectly with it. I wanted a basic jacket and skirt pattern-Vogue 8916 was the choice pattern. I also made the lace blouse and skirt. The only thing I have not made is the dress from the ensemble. I will though, and I really like how easily this pattern was to fit and make! There are a number of ways to use these pieces with other things in my closet too. Plus, lace is the trendy thing right now!

Material Notes

Silk tweed for the suit and lined with silk charmeuse; lace for the blouse and skirt and lined with a polyester crepe lining.

Garment Type
Business, Classic
Lace/Sequins, Polyester, Silk
