I used this pattern for the upper part of the dress : Tweed Dress 12/2012 #133
Traced size 36 WITHOUT seam allowance…I’m between sizes I think and I find patterns a bit too big to my figure, however, do leave allowance for sleeves and hem as indicated!
For the skirt I drafted my own pattern by measuring my waist and dividing that number by 6.28 cm. that is the radius. Drawn a circumference with that radius then added 41 cm to that radius and drawn a bigger circumference. I guess it is just easier to follow the instructions here, except you are not making a peplum but a swing/circle skirt with this draft http://matterofstyle.blogspot.ie/2012/04/peplum-skirt-diy.html

The fabric itself is a beautiful emerald green/silver/black buckl too bad the pictures don’t do justice!!!
