This is the A-line jumper 09/2012 #105. In therms of fabric requirement, the pattern calls for wool jersey, but I came over this blu-ish cotton chambray and thought I would give it a try. Initially I thought about making a simple shift dress, namely the shift dress from 09/2012 Burdastyle magazine that so many have made successful versions of, but when I saw this pattern I changed my mind :) I omitted the front and back vertical seam, by cutting the pattern pieces on a fold (but regretted afterwards, because the front seam is one of the features that drew me to this pattern initially) Oh well, maybe next time ;) The front pockets are the cutest! I didn´t line the dress, but used bias tape on the neck and armhole edges. The pattern doesn´t have any shaping to the back, which didn´t really look good with my swayback, so I added some diamond shaped darts. Favourite feature: The front pockets!!
