Burda Style For people who sew
Description
The last time I made the Ceylon dress by Colette Patterns I got such an applause by many (namely you lovely people!), however this time around I imagine a golf clap is in order.
Black just isn’t that interesting! (Well, maybe unless you’re a goth) but the uniform at work is “black”. Black black black. That’s all there is, there isn’t anymore.
Now although I love this dress, I made it for practical purposes more than just a flouncy girly dress to flit around the town in, therefore it’s just an ‘ok’ project to me. Now I can continue my journey with the quirky bright prints I’m somehow becoming known for…

Let me tell you that I like it a lot in black, too. And I’m no goth – although I tend to like gothic clothes, I must convess ;-) Well, you can’t see all the details as good as in a coloured version, but I think it looks great. Elegant and female, yet simple and quiet.
