Here is the cello dress I have been working so hard on. It has a wool shell and a polyester lining. Piping in the front creates the strings on the instrument, and I manually appliqued the swirly designs. The blouse underneath is a cotton/silk poplin. I don’t think I’ve ever made an outfit with such expensive materials…with the exception of the one dress I made with a wool/cashmere blend. Also, the entire outfit was self designed and drafted.
