My grandaughter loves Belle and wanted to be Celina Belle as she calls herself so I made this Belle dress for her. I hand made the individual roses on the dress and added more to the underskirt to make it fuller. Bought the wig at party city and she loves it! Made a cape to go with it. She is allergic to really fuzzy fabrics so I found a soft thick flannel to make the trim on the cape and the muffler. She won first place at our church costume party and plays in it all the time. It washes up so nice.
Poly/satin and organza for outer and cotton for the inside and facing. Yellow netting around the inside skirt.

Its adorable. I’ve always found it odd how the Disney store doesn’t sell accurate costumes, but this is by far the most accurate and adorable version i’ve seen.

Wow this is just amazing! So much better than what they sell in the shops usually! A passionate costume maker myself I can see the amount of effort you put into this, well done!

This reminds me my Cinderella dress that my mom made me from our tulle curtains when I was in second grade. The same style but different fabric. I remember how proud I was wearing it.. I can just imagine the feeling your grand daughter felt proudly showing of to her girlfriend what a dress her grandma made!. She is lucky to have you! You did an amazing job!
