Description
This dress is a variation of the Maddy top. The pattern is quite unusual. The diamond in the center of the front holds together all the gathering. The top has many fabric options, from heavier wovens to lighter fabrics such as chiffons, cottons or satins. The seams of the dress allow you to match up stripes or plaids in interesting ways. Go for a lighter fabric, but be aware that the gathering may be a bit harder to sew. Blogged here
