I made this overdress for my friend after she fell in love with the Unconditional Osier Dress at Anthro. Since she has red hair, we decided that green lace would look lovely. I drafted a simple raglan sleeve bodice, and the skirt is just a gathered rectangle. I utilized the scalloped edge of the lace for the sleeve and skirt “hems” and added bias binding to the neckline. Working with the lace was not nearly as tricky as I was afraid it would be; I just had to be careful not to make any mistakes since trying to find my thread to pick it out would have been a nightmare.
It should go over a black slip, but we’re working on finding the right one, or if not, I will make one.
