Description

Intended to be the first of many chemises for summer nights, but sometimes good intentions = horrible results! (Um, suffice to say my cups runneth over quite a bit!) I’ll have to rethink the bodice for next time; meanwhile, I’ll probably pass this one along to a smaller-busted sibling.

It was only leftover fabric from another project, but I’m a little sad because I really love this shade of pale green and it suits me quite well! (You’ll have to trust me on that, though — I’m definitely NOT posting photos!)

Material Notes

silk cotton poplin (called “radiance” at fabric.com)

I had exactly the same problem! I knew it would sit low but I didn’t expect it to be so small. How annoying. I’m making a second one and adding a frill round the neckline to make it a little more substantial. Yours looks lovely though, great colour. And so neatly finished.

thank you! I found a good home for it, and I’m planning on a second one too… with some more room added to the cup seams. Adding a frill is a great idea, I might steal it ;)
