The ending costumes of the four stars from Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest”. Left to right: (in pink)Cecily Cardew, (in gray and rust) Algernon/Earnest, (in blue and teal) Jack/Earnest, and (in blue and green) Gwendolyn Fairfax. I made the ascots for the last three, the complete outfit (minus hat) for the last one, and altered the heck out of the first one. I designed the vests for the boys, but they were sewn by someone else (I had a few people helping me to sew all the costumes for the play). Earlier the boys were wearing the same cut of vests, only in red/blue ascot for Algernon, and brown/gold ascot for Jack.
cotton, tafeta, tweed
Ms. Williams, my sewing club sponsor, who sewed the vests.
Hannah, Landon, Tim, and Mariah, the actors

Ok, well I guess it’s cut off so you can’t see Gwendolyn. I have other picutres of her though, in Gwendolyn-Country outfit.
