Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This lovely shift pattern is an original copy from 1965, Simplicity 5866. It has a back zip and a scalloped collar. I took the dress in a bit because i am very tiny in the middle. The fabric is originally tommy hilfiger bed sheets i got on sale at macys……i have way too much left over. hehe. I purchased it because the lobster print reminded me of lilly pulitzer. Hope you like it!!!!
Material Notes
Bed sheets, so probably cotton….2..maybe 300 count…lol.

It’s adorable. I love the fit, love the collar, love the fabric – both the print and the fact that you used bedsheets. I used a curtain for my last dress project. I also love how you styled it with the sweater and OMG THE SHOES.

It is so pretty! I’ve also bought Tommy Hilfger sheets with little aligators, because they look like Lilly-ish fabric :) I’ve yet to make anything, though.
