The pattern is model 121 from the April 2010 issue of Burda magazine. It is a “boxy” jacket with a round, low-ish neckline, an off-centered zipper and zipper details on the sleeves.
I was attracted by the “casualness” of the pattern, and the sleeve details. I love a long sleeve so this was perfect.
The main alteration I made aside from a few fitting tweaks was to add a lining to the bodice and the sleeve bands as they can be worn folded over.
This pattern came together quite easily – the only tedious part are the welt pockets, and I’m pretty happy with the result.
cotton twill and stretch pin-stripe cotton for the lining.
Twill tape for the neckline and over the front zipped

Lovely jacket! I agree with hcarey203, you presented this jacket way better than the magazine did. I had overlooked this jacket for years, until now.

thank you! It’s funny cause the pattern caught my attention right away when I saw it… But it’s true that in that same “collection”, other patterns did not appeal to me at all until I saw projects from other sewers that turned out really good…
