Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Bought for $6 a yard, I love this dress! It’s long enough to make it a little different, shiny enough to dress up, and casually cut for any event. My friend calls it the Harry Potter Dress because of the colors, but I think it’s just magical. The best part? It only took about two hours to make.

It’s from one of my favorite stores in Berkeley: Stone Mountain (http://www.stonemountainfabric.com/). It was on sale and is gone now, but I get a lot of good finds from them.

Thanks :) This is made from my favorite t-shirt pattern (McCall’s 6164), which I extended to a dress, added long sleeves, cuffs and a neckband.
