Description

This dress was whipped up pretty quick – I think you can tell just a little bit. I wanted something extra to wear that would be easy to sew and would include using any fabric scraps I had leftover. Ta da! You get this dress. The lace ribbon was actually an afterthought while sewing it up, but I think I makes the entire dress.

      Hi Senebo!

I did draft the pattern myself and the fabrics I used were just cotton non-stretch fabrics of about the same weight. The patterned inset pieces have more of a brushed suede-ish hand. It was all just fabric hanging around in my fabric pile. I’m not even sure where the blue fabric came from!

Sometimes one can make the most pretty garments using scraps and making afterthoughts!
