I bought the Renfrew top pattern from sewaholic and my plan was to buy some nice striped fabric. But when I got to the fabric store and found this I just couldn’t resist.
This is pretty much my first go at a knit fabric. I remember making something in school years and years ago from a knit fabric and it turning out absolutely awful. This project honestly hasn’t made me love knits. I really messed up the sleeve cuffs and ended up almost ripping one sleeve to shreds trying to get the cuff off again. Instead of cutting new cuffs I decided to just hem the sleeves instead. I’m pretty happy with the result and I will probably give this pattern another go ´cause I just have to master knits sometime and it is a great pattern!
