For my son who had asked for an eagle costume I made one out of long haired fake fur due to the not-availability of feather-fabric. The pattern is based on the wookie-costume, January issue of the Burda magazine (152, 1/2013). I cut out the hood longer to go down to the shoulders, added the wings and shortened the pant legs to 3/4 length.
The beak is made out of papier mch and covered with fabric. Hope you like it – my son does.
