Description

I saw a similar dress on Carla Bruni when she visited who knows which country. The pattern is from Burda 10/2009 (no. 115) and as a was to lazy to make a belt, I chose to make a bow with the rest of the fabric….

The dress is exactly to my taste: 1. 60ties 2. yellow 3. woolen fabric… and I love the bow! :-) Stunning photographie, like always! You make me happy! :-)) (Concerning the neckline, I agree to Ghainscom.)

How lovely and lady-like. I also like the setting for your photoshoot and the low angle which show off your legs! :) Perhaps another angle with the light from the side rather than from behind would make it easier to see the seam details and texture of the fabric.

Beautiful! For a crisper neckline, you might want to press and understitch the seams. That way the facings won’t show :)

You’re perfectly right Ghainskom, I should have made excessive use of the pressing iron & give it a try with the understitching. Thanks for all your hints, ladies. They’re most appreciated!
