This underbust medieval-style card corset was inspired by Alice in Wonderland of course.
It took quite a bit of time, I ended up glueing the cards down on the pattern pieces and then sewing over them, then glueing bias binding on all the edges and sewing over them. Then I put the 70 eyelets in…
I laced all the edges with ribbon.
I used a woven cotton back and all plastic cards, a lot of bias binding, lots of eyelets and lots of ribbon.
Take off with pleats, cut-outs, insets, and futuristic prints.
