Pattern New Look 6510. I’ve had this pattern for ages, and was bored one Sunday – so I dug through my fabric pile and whipped this up. I’m not super thrilled with the way the hip came out – in fact I had to make adjustments after I put it together, and it still bumps out a little, but I actually wear it a lot for work. I also added a graphic circle fabric to the bottom after I cropped the original skirt. I really like how the fabrics work together. I also added a lining using an online tutorial when I realized how thin and somewhat scratchy the material was. What did we ever do without the internet?

I really like the 2 fabrics and how well they suit each other in this simple skirt. Well done.
