Just simple evening dress I wore to the Cappies Gala in my city. I was afraid I would be under/over dressed, but with simple accessories and silver shoes it was the perfect level of fanciness.
In the second picture, I am with my friend who was nominated for best costumes and she is wearing a dress she made herself. The girl she co-designed the costumes with wore the same dress but in cobalt blue. They look fabulous!
The satin was very nice to work with, it wasn’t that slippery, and since it is usually used for nighties and gowns, it’s soft on the wrong side. It was unbelievably comfortable and easy to wear!
