Description

I bought this book by Diana Rupp “Sew Everything Workshop” and it contains a bunch of patterns. I decided to try this one because i love everything tweed. I love the satin lining that you catch a glimpse of when you poke your arm out of the slit. I also found a really pretty ribbon to line the hem with and think it really gives it an elegant touch. Its very warm and cozy to wrap up in on a crisp fall day.

Material Notes

wool, silk, satin, ribbon and pretty buttons

How do you finish the neckline and front of the cape?

How do you finish the neckline and front of the Cape? I find it is either missing or unclear in the book.

This is fantastic! I have that book also! I’ve been eyeing up the cape pattern for quite sometime now! Good job, I love it!

I love this project! I made one myself in fuschia/dark denim. Adorable!
