Capes are all the rage amongst the ladies at BurdaStyle—and today we’re featuring Carol’s cape made of Pendleton fabric, which was sewn by BurdaStyle member Jodika* and modeled + styled by our intern Holly. Complete with a cozy hood and openings for your arms. You can see how versatile this single look is below in the photos!
*Added after AnaJan’s comment—thanks!

This is so beautiful! I love your fabric choice. You did a great job! Nice touch with the red belt. I am also making the same cape right now. It’s a fun project so far and I can’t wait to for it to be done. And dress it up like yours. :)

wow! This is a beautiful cape. Certainly any fabric from Pendleton is going to be good! They have made an effort for a long time to recreate blankets with the patterns specific to the American Indians. They have given those to the Chief of each nation.

Well done Jody!!! Too bad you couldn’t be thanked for your free labour and keep this wonderful cape! Ana told me and raved about it so I was looking forward to finally seeing it featured. Hope you can find Pendleton fabric in Budapest…:)

Where is the pattern for it? The front page states, “Get the pattern!” There are no links for it and I’d like to give it a try!

What a lovely cape! Jody did a great job sewing it! Too bad she wasn’t credited for her work. I like that she made it double faced.
