this cape was an improv starting with half a circle of japanese tweed. The colar was design “free hand” and the tweed flower is mounted on a pin. It was made with the edge of the material.
Wool japanese sample. I only had a yard or so, but still manage to sew a hat and a cape out of it.
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
