Cape Dress!

Added Jan 2, 2012

by surbee

N. Bethesda, Mar...

this dress was inspired by a dress i initially spotted on refinery29 made by DKNY. without a pattern, i went at it and tried my best to replicate it with some minor modifications like pockets and a plaid trim. it didn’t necessarily turn out exactly as i wanted but i’m satisfied with it! more info on the entire process here on my blog,

Material Notes

gabardine + wool.

It’s very impressive you did this without a pattern. Beautiful dress!
