This project is a mix of a few techniques and handbag making tutorials I have been following. Finally, I decided to create my own pattern.
The result is this lined canvas wristlet with zipper pocket and 2 open pockets, using the same combination of navy blue and apple green canvas that I used for the zipper pouch.
I hope you like it!
1. Navy blue and apple green cotton canvas for the exterior.
2. matching thread for visible stitches.
3. Dark brown zipper and matching leather wrist band (ready made)
4. Black lining (rayon).
5. Matching black zipper for interior pocket.
I want to clarify that ideally the clutch would also include a medium thick interfacing, but I had some problems with my sewing machine which is rather basic and not good for thick layers, and finally had to desist. I highly recommend using the interfacing to give a stronger body to the clutch.
