The quest continues. I’m determined to get a perfectly fitted shirt out of the 04/2010 Long sleeved shirt pattern. This time I used the pattern printed off at 90% with a bunch of alterations and lots more needed for my next one. You can read more deets here and here if you’re curious. Or just come by to say ‘hello!’
This is the first shirt I made where I used all of David Page Coffin’s “Shirtmaking” techniques. It was…uh…enlightening?
Red and white striped cotton shirting that I didn’t realize until way too late would look pink. I used 100% cotton buckram to interface the collar and sleeves. Parenthetically, if you’re looking for the perfect shirt interfacing, use buckram.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
