Description

Pastel striped Ruby. This fabric was a pain because it kept fraying (even on finished seams)! Because of the fraying issue, I used a light weight green polka-dot cotton for the pockets, inner waistbands and underlap. I was worried that button holes wouldn’t hold up (the fraying issue again), so I used chrome snaps instead. I also lengthened the inseam by 3 inches or so.

Material Notes

Some sort of slubbed poly-blend, thin cotton for the pockets/waistbands/underlap. All yard sale or ebay finds.

Looks good! And it’s nice to see a slightly longer version of Ruby, since that’s how I would want to make it when I get around to trying this pattern out.

Lovely, great fit! Fresh crispy colors, just looking at them makes me happy (don’t need my morning-coffee any more)

I like the color of this fabric. Don´t worry about the pockets and the fraying fabric, looks great anyway!
