I used Vogue 8772 — a very basic looking pattern, but there are so many possibilities for alternate details that I’ll probably make quite a few versions of this. I didn’t exactly follow all of the directions because I had a limited amount of fabric. The tie, for example, should be wider (and I may take it off and add the regular collar back instead) and I used narrow elastic to gather the sleeves instead of a cuff or plain hem. It’s not perfect, and it kind of looks like I belong in a barbershop quartet, but I like it!
